Oh **&£^$&* where did my SSD go? boot failed and can not find in bios checking cable now. Suggestions please. I do not have a other system to update firmware.
WTF?? wiggled all cable now it boots!! please give me some links to SSD testing software! Yes yes going to go check software thread now. Any one know a good one? want to make sure my SSD is OK. Its a Vertex 3 MAX IOPS edition.
THings to check: 1. The Sata cable 2. The Power Cable 3. Change the port on the motherboard 4. If you have more than one SATA controller (such as intel and Marvell) try them both If all that fails, try it in another machine, or laptop.

Its amazing what a loose cable can cause. I fiddled with my dog last weekend. And played Dayz with no problems next day I played battlefield 3. and after a few minutes I got blue screened and system reboot. Was fine on desktop but soon as i run the game it did it again. Checked cables and one of my pcie power cables to gpu moved. Must have knocked it. Scared me tp death as i don't have the money tp replace anything at the moment.

Just seen whats been said and yes it was auto correct. I found out my issue was Pagefiling....fixed them other day oh and had HDD goe missing whilst recording
