Windows Guild Wars 2

I'm going for Desolation server personally due to the PvP focus and unofficial UK/Scandi server..

 

Rolling on Desolation with a few friends here. Going to be good fun!

Going to have a small guild started and there's about 5 of us so far, all brits too if anybody is interested

 

Everyone on every forum send to be going desolation. Makes me think maybe it's not a good idea. Me and my PvP will probably roll somewhere else since sPvP and tPvP are region wide anyway, plus the PvE is crap when there's to many people around as the events don't scale high enough and everything does to quickly to be fun.

 

We're rolling on Desolation too, and if anyone would like a casual guild to play along with or Alliance with please feel free to look at Don't Injure Yourself [DIY]
We have been playing the original Guildwars since its beta and many other games too including Rift and SWTOR

 

When i do get on Im going with my old Guild. Will be on GW2 sometime next week!

I just bought the game!! Downloading now but wont be online till monday most likely.

 

bought the game several months ago, but decided to get a refund after i discovered path of exile

 

Just been confirmed desolation here we come me + 3 friends...

Have to somehow suggest they move from skype to vent tho xD

 

Try 'Unlike Skype, it works with more the 5 people'. Also Mumble is easier to configure

Login servers have fallen over but it's to be expected or a short while at least, so long as we don't have an error 37 situation for days

 

Just logged in, selected Desolation My old Guild is going to be there!!

And now I can't login!

Things to not do, reject ToS once logged in.....

And now Desolation is full and I dont know if i can get on it.

Nope server is full, not happy as I selected it in the first place but now I have to choose a different server.

 

Was tempted and bought the game - but never played GW1 and have no idea wat do :c

Still, looks pretty

 

Where's best place to buy the game right now? Wa hoping to play tomorrow (Sunday 26th).

 

Direct from their website if you want access sunday (digital pre-purchase, 3 day headstart). Pre-orders were getting a 1 day head start of the Tuesday release but seeing as it's the bank holiday you won't get a copy delivered now.

Aye I know it starts today but he wanted to play Sunday and the digital pre-purchase is the only way.

 

Im going to be home from my girlfriends on Monday so my time will be split between Guild Wars, Guild Wars2 and BF3.

I have titles to go finish.

 

Desolation server is where me and friends ended up in the end. Shame the servers have crashed madly

 

random CTD after about 7 hours of play reads "incorrect password" ???

And now I've been hammering the login servers for 2 hours flat, no luck =(

(inb4 duh its an mmo release day, what did you expect)

Login servers have probs, yep. It's release day, chill out.. I've been up since 6am local time to play it and am just playing something else in the meantime.

 

hang on - wernt some people spitting fire at blizzard when the D3 log in servers were crushed on day 1
