Buying doesn't seem to do much for me, I see no reason not to go thru the menu... I'll take out fwarn, but as to it being a "mess", I'm not sure I follow - it does pretty much everything I need and does it fine... you sound more experienced but I'm not quite clear where you see it can be improved?
I use to mod the HL engine quite a bit. But when CS came out I just did scripts. I created a buying system that took 2 button presses and I was fully loaded and ready to go. If you didn't have enough money it would selectively not buy non-essential items (in otherwords you wouldn't end up buying a primary, secondary, frag, but no ammo for your primary, the frag would be sacraficed instead). By a mess I mean there is quite a lot of functions that aren't really necessary. You may come accustom to your config file, but I don't find a need for a lot of that and it just wastes computer resources. As far as how it's written, it's fairly tidy. I wasn't trying to insinuate it was written poorly if thats what you thought. But to each his or her own .
1. Is that why fwarn was messing it up? Too much going on at the same time? 2. Crouching when firing obviously means you can hit on full auto, not sure about needing to duck on 3-round burst but figure I should try it... 3. Haven't yet found any reason to justify lattack yet, but a friend swears by flashlight blinding. It did sound as if there was criticism, sorry for overreacting, this is my baby, I've spent many too nights on this file
It's cool. The half-life engine should be able to execute those commands fine. It may have something to do with the wait command. Sometimes it requires the 'magic' wait number. I forgot what it was, but it was something like 12 ticks (in otherwords wait;wait;wait;wait,etc...)

I now use cplgui since seeing this thread, very good for switching guns! I did download something called 1337script, which i thought didnt contain cheats. Little did i know there was a recoil remover i got banned from my fav server

CS drone . I'm still trying to reinstall CS. It doesn't help that whenever I get to 80% on the HL 1.1.1.0 patch my modem hangs up (no matter what server I download it from). Oh well, I will be playing in the near future... Maybe...
No, I've downloaded Enemy Territory (200 some odd MB (Wolfenstein if you don't know)) and it went without a hitch. Anyway, I downloaded GetRight and that did the trick for me.
