What do we think guys ? Need to pick up a cheap psu to run a fairly low powered gaming rig tomorrow, as close to £40 as possible, its running a 965BE and a 7770. -- Link doesnt work, its LN 46802 Silverstone SST-ST50F-ES Strider 500W http://www.scan.co.uk/products/450w-be-quiet!-system-power-s6-bn090-87-eff-80-plus-fan-atx-psu http://www.scan.co.uk/products/430w...bn105-80-plus-sli-crossfire-quiet-fan-atx-psu This is on today only for £45.59 ? http://www.scan.co.uk/products/520w...us-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-fan-atx-v23-p
. Gonna test one of the modular be quiet units out, 530w jobby a bit over the budget but it will do. Never tried be quiet but they seem to get half decent reviews everywhere, 3 years warranty so if it goes pop Il just get it sorted.
Be careful with that Antec PSU, I've nearly recommended it before until i noticed that it doesn't come with cables (read the product overview section and it says this in red). So get it if you have all the cables already (and those cables fit) but if not then look somewhere else.
Be Quiet have a good rep, used to be very highly recommended. I feel the only reason they aren't now is not because they got worse but others got better (mainly those made by Seasonic). Still, they remain on my list of PSU brands I trust.
Non-modular, but this still looks pretty nifty. http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w...v2uk-80-eff-uncertified-quiet-fan-atx-v23-psu
