WAY WAY too hot - you're talking wax melting temps there!

I actually put a LOT of thought into this some months back, and came up with an idea approching that of the Water window...

But then one with normal glass, and then replace the other one with that something along the lines of the rear window of a car, see?

Then I thought about the heat...

there would be 2 ways to combat it, but it would defenatley make thing run a bit hotter at least...
    • Add another piece of glass again, with some kind of vaccum inbetween it and the heating piece of glass, much like a double glazed window
    • MoRe FaNS!

Yeah, but you'd want to find a car with no rear defogger, so that you wouldn't have lines on your window. Also, you'd need to find it from a fairly old car, so that it would be planar rather than curvy. Plus, I'll bet it'd be hella expensive.

If you fancy a trip to a scrap yard in Stoke on Trent, you will find my old metro there, that had a flat back window

    (it was heated too :p)

Eh, I dunno that I'd trust wax to dissipate heat better than the old HSF. :--)
