More of a quick canvass of opinion more than anything. About 2 and a bit years ago i bought the Silverstone raven 2. (Pre air penetrators). This weekend the power button has ceased to function. It can't have been pressed more than 1000 times. Should i even try and bother getting silverstone to sort it or am i expecting far too much for a button to function more than 600 (by my reckoning) times over a 2 year period.

They might send you a new power button if you email, the wires have probably just come loose you can normally solder them back on easily

Or just plug the reset switch to the motherboards power header

My personal expectation would be at least 5 years. Hopefully someone more knowledgeble in consumer laws writes something.

EDIT: Megadriveguy is on the right track.

Thanks for the replies. I was just trying to gauge how helpful silverstone might be before i get in contact with them.

They can take awhile to reply but I did manage to get one of my AP fans replaced by them for free :)

How likely do you think they'll replace a sidepanel?

Window side took a 20cm drop and chipped the paint.

They wont replace that, they may sell you a panel if they have spares but it wont be cheap

    I wouldn't bother

Give them a try i got a reply within a couple of hours. All they wanted was my invoiuce, serial number and an address. They might charge you a bit with it being a bit heavier but you've nowt to lose.
