There's always the option of "owner distressed." -Or "shipping distressed." The post office seems to be pretty good at it. Just pack it in scouring pads before you send it out.
Now that they are dry, its time to clean them up. Clipping off the long edges on all the sides... Some sanding... and more sanding...
Here are the posts and doors. Here is a shot of the doors with the sign dry fitted. Here is the inside looking out. The doors are mounted.
Time for some glue-ups Make sure the computer it was designed to hold fits! Top view without the roof.
Here we are in the spray booth. First can of paint down... two more to go... Well ok, 1 and a half to get here.
Nice Paint Booth your paint booth caught my eye. Is the box fan exausting air (drawing air in through the furnace filter)? Do you have it on as you are painting, or just afterwards to help the item dry? I'm intrigued - and want to build my own now. Great paint job - I agree that it is a shame to paint the beautiful wood, but it wouldn't look right if it wasn't blue. great work so far. I'm interested to see how you fit the components...
I use it to pull air through the box. While I am painting, I have the front open and the fan pulling air. To dry, I pull down the front flap and seal it. Causing the Air go go through the filter.
