Star Wars is a big Universe, given who's writing it I see no reason why they can't create a series of films that appeal to a broad audience whilst also dealing with deeper themes. Plus X wings, i's got to have X Wings.

 

Of course it's a new generation of actors, it's a new generation of characters. In the article it said Mark Hamil, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford were keen in playing their characters again. That means that other actors will play new characters. It's not a big deal. The story continues.....




As long as it has X-Wings.

Bandwidth wouldn't be the problem. I can imagine the data rate of the express card probably is. But even then, it's probably enough to play games on modest settings XD If it's express card 2 it will run at USB 2 speeds which is significantly slower than PCI-E 1 even at 1x.

Michael Arndt and Brad Bird or Matthew Vaughn. Sounds promising to me.

Pixar are the best thing about Disney and the first two are from that camp.
Their films have some of that "all things to all ages" magic that the original trilogy had. Even if it's not "Star Wars" as people remember it, I think the ingredients are there for a decent film at least.

Remember, modern Lucas is the problem not the solution, and Disney are at least unproven.
