I was curious about the possibility of using ASRock Extreme Tuning Utility (AXTU).

Is it not only for Asrock motherboard like the one from Asus just works on Asus boards?

Not sure to tell you the truth. I'm sure most of the settings wouldn't but there's a chance at least the OCing could still work. Ill look into it a little bit more.

Bummer. Maybe we can start emailing Shuttle about enabling OCing with a new BIOS update. If they pull the "void your warranty card" we will just say "TOO LATE!" Haha

But seriously, I'm going to start emailing them about it. The reps I've dealt with so far seem very nice and care about making happy customers, who knows what can happen...

HAHA, that would be funny ;-)

Im not sure how the will responed, cunsidering that it's not made for OC at all in the case it originally came with (bad airflow)

The worst thing that can happen is they say no :) I really hope these boards become more popular.

On another note. I know you didn't end up using them but what kind of standoffs did you use on the motherboard?

    Standoffs?
Two of them fitted fine with the ones in the case, and then just som other ones from a Antec case (believe they are pretty standard)..

I guess I should clarify haha. I mean to support the end of the board hanging over towards the front of the case

Very well, I thought about using some LD cooling standoff's that are preatty long, but didn't get an answer from them when I requsted them :-(

But you can make some your self, but it is really not needed ;-)

Nice build, my advice about fans is to get fans with the lowest possible amout of blades, increasing the number of blades, increase the noise frequency, but be aware, the fans can develop also noise from the bearings and very often noise from a cheap made electronic circuit due to lack of smoothing capacitors.

I definitely see what you mean by not needing the standoffs for the overhang. This certainly is a sturdy PCB and the standoffs really would only get in the way of the pump, fittings, and wiring.

    Thanks ;-)

It think it have something to do with that place of the big socket.
And that the GPU's is realy heavy on motherboard which makes the end bend a little up, and not down..

Already got my first "Copy cat"

Haha props to you man! Ya I've wanted to do a mITX build for a long time but couldn't justify buying a new CPU after just buying a 2011 socket CPU. And then I came across your project log and found out there is a solution!!!
