I do models for the joy of making something that only I own (as each model becomes a unique creation) as well as to have something to fill all the hours since I can't work any more. I'm currently doing a 1:12 2010 GT500 that I really wish had more detail, and so I'm making a large amount of the stuff myself. Batteries, fuel injectors, wiring harness-you name it, I'm trying to make it. Wish it had a photoetch kit pretty badly right now.

    DAT JACKET :eeek:

Where from and how much? Fits well? Not baggy and sack-like?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. A bit pricey but still nice. Fit question still stands.

That is nice... I may have to go shopping today and shamelessly copy

I do have a notable gap in the coats in my wardrobe that something like that would fill nicely.

Ted Baker Jackets are very nice.

I have two that I wear all the time (not together).

They're both around the 1 year mark and looking great still, plus the lining on mine is epic. Some of my friends say I should wear it inside out.

New laptop (which I'll be getting for Christmas), Asus vivobook s200e - £450 for a well made touch screen 11.6" i3 laptop, once the hard drive's replaced by the spare ssd I have should be ideal.

I bought a Ted Baker jacket similar to that one but I had to return it as it was tight across the upper body and restricted my movement so actions like pulling on a seat belt were difficult. The next size up was the same so it was the cut of the jacket that was the issue. A minor annoyance but at £300 it has to fit perfectly for me to justify the price. It's a real shame as I loved it and I can't find another jacket I like as I do not suit double breasted coats.

How much did you pay for that?

I'm trying to decide whether to get one or not.

Mini Sonos review - I don't own one, but a friend does so I have some experience with it. It worked flawlessly with iOS control and gave out some impressive volume for a unit of its size, I found the quality of the sound a little lacking compared to my monitors, but for a single speaker it was pretty good.

re Sonos. A friend of mine is an installer for them and Bose for high end media streaming installs for shops and homes for the mega wealthy. I've been keeping an eye on them for a while and trying to see if any get sold off cheap anywhere.

But I've decided to just get some bits off him and use birthday money for it. After all I can't spend it all on just pcs, cameras, cycling, clothes, music and furniture.
