If I could get a desk the size of Alekoys, I'd be quite happy. One of those things that has to wait until I have my own, permanent, place to live.:sigh:

    Cheers for the positive comments.

Yeah it certainly isnt all my own work! I simply did the plans and a rough Google sketch up of what I wanted to show the scale. A local carpenter then advised me on what MDF to use and cut/ fitted it. I then spent a happy week sanding, priming and painting it (in several different orders). Carpenter did a great jop considering its actually made out of six different parts. The filling and sanding I had to do really was minimal.

So as you said its custom (perhaps).

Now that's what you call a well-planned & tidy layout / set up.

    MOAR quotes, anyone?

Yes indeed, and you'll see them "some time this year" At the moment I have zero out of my three regular monitors, they're all either on my bench being repaired (2) or away being replaced under warranty (1) :( I also need to rebuild my PC with the new case and components that have been sitting here for months, do some custom work on the desks that I've had planned for ages like Lankius has done and generally tidy the whole thing up. It's functional at the moment, but only just

"If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?" - Albert Einstein

In all honesty I am a bit messy when it comes to that sort of thing, but I tidy up as regularly as possible, which means when time permits. I really don't have time on a Wednesday afternoon to be worrying about how my desk or the workshop bench looks, but I might take a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon to clean and tidy the place if I'm here. There are some weeks that it gets done and there are some months that it never gets touched. I don't like it being that way for too long, but my job is not exactly a 9-5 and having my room, office, workshop or even the car clean and tidy cannot be high on my list of priorities when I'm run off my feet.

I'm going to have fitted furniture installed in my room and the office sometime very soon. I need more desk space for more monitors and my new, larger case, and just to make better use of the space that I have available. I will be mounting my triples on a raised stand when I finally get them all working, but my PC has been on my desk for as long as I've had anything other than a beige box for a computer, so it's staying exactly where it is! :thumb:

That looks fantastic, I really love how much use you've made of the limited space in that room! Well done :)

Some screen collection there! I spy with my little eye...an Audioengine D1, very nice setup!

I finally finished January exams today and had some time to assemble my speaker stands and build myself a little plinth for my headphone amp so it doesn't cook the DAC it was sitting on.
Room this year is a little cramped, as you'll see!
