Modding Keyboard modding

I am planning to spray-paint my keyboard (chrome). And I am just wondering if anyone else have done something similar, and if you can post any pictures of your keyboard here.

Doesn't the image only load once anyway, since it is cached?

 

Done mine a few months back. It was sprayed with Plasti-Kote Pewter to go with the case then sprayed with clear acrylic. Need a little touch up on the wrist rest...too much CS Also replaced the LEDs for bloo ones.

 

Dude!!! That is the sweetest thing EVER!!!!!! I have the same keyboard too. You have to tell me how you did the bloo lighting. PLEASE!!!!

 

i modded my logi with bloo LEDs too, just take ya kb apart, desolder the green LEDs and solder some 3mm bloo ones in their place.

 

That sounds easy. Bloo LED's, here we go again.

I have a tip that might be useful to people painting their keyboard.
If you want to paint the keys as well, you can later use decal or "printable transparency stickers" to restore to key labels, and then apply a clear coat (thick one) to avoid fading out with constant usage.

And yea, don't quote images.

Just paint the letters a different shade to the symbols, and the numbers a different shade again, and no need for decals - you all touch type, right?
