Freakin awesome Abbis, it's funny how the Pi comp has inspired some pretty damn good stuff. Looking forward to seeing more

Kinda gutted I started a side project, think I'd have joined in but there is no lack of awesomeness coming from it so alls good.

thanks guys, am glad you like it, the biggest challenge here is, and i know i am repeatig myself, but it true, is trying to get this cute little PI look like some big bad hightower. anyway, here are some more pics of today progress. have mounted all the little wooden tiddly bits with a 1mm space inbetween and sanded them a bit thinner, they were too thick. apart from that the chrome parts are mounted, and the base is mounted with 2 or 3 mm space underneath for the base light. the base protects the croc paws which were quite delicate and are now protected. all in all its 15x 10x13 so am still within the limits. all the visible parts are demountable for maintenance and accessing the PI. more to come tonight.

hi mate, well its not supposed to be a croc, just elementarilly have the theme and elements and style. i think, everyone will see what i see as soon as color comes into the game.
then you will see the aim i have. the stainles steel parts will give it that richness a bit, i hope.

 

Dyslexia strikes again: I read that as, "Repto am bi curious."

You really need a pic of this next to one of you other cases. Just to show how tiny it is. I like it in the natural color. It has a Cyber-Aztec thing going.

 

yeh you are right there, i will certainly make a picture next to the RENEGADE or or another just so one can see the sheer immensity of it huge tinyness.
and yes all carved things i make do tend to look like some aztec lore until painted.
am using the same same technique like on the VENOM i made for this one, really extreme colors all covered in resinoid paint, looks extremely intense and good. a bit like these pics here. but with more greens and pale yellows maybe, and the teeth dipped in blood etc....rrgggghhh
its all airbrushed with regular printer ink..

just tested the PI to see if it is still working, it fell from the table but
still boots, so i guess its ok. here is the first color, and before someone asks, dont worry, no it wont stay black, this will be sanded off leaving the black in the nooks crannys and holes and grooves etc.. the rest is airbrush. more to come.

hi guys, so now the first airbrush color comes in to the game. not exactly finished yet, at least you can see in which direction its going.




















the glaze is still wet and thats why its milky, will change as it dries.

hey gla-58 yep, thats the plan. am almost finished here, still needs a few coats of glaze on it and a little surprise is coming too. am not sure whether i will leave the metal rods in chrome, maybe i will paint them black or something, must trail that.
i will make a few pics in day time and video by daylight too.

Blood on every claw & tooth, looks awesome.

 

as expected, just like the ink stained VENOM i made, this is so hard tp take pictures of. either just greens or just yellew or too dark or too light. will try another camera from my freind . they all look as if its coered in dust even though in real life its as smooth as a babys bottom and absolutele dust free. anyway, here are some new photos. must try y better camera
