Ihave just sold my coolermaster smp gold 600w to a freind. So im getting a evga supernova 750w gold is got the power to run both my 6950, so im going to do so, however the one im rumming now has a black pcb and backplate. The other one has a red pcb and no backplate, otherthan that it isent a reference pcb so the block is different. Im considering making a box/ covering plate for both the gpus.

It didn't effect mine. I painted the green/brown heatsink blue to match the rest of my white and blue tj07 build.

In fact the temps are really good!

I should probably point out that I only painted the small southbridge blue. The misfits around the cpu i have under water. So im not sure of the effects it would have painting all of them?

Yeh a back plate i think. If they were air cooled cards it would have been cool to make a case around them with a fan forcing air in and out the back, but not any point if they're on water.

    thanks :)
i would only make one for the lower red GPU, as it is the ugly one... possibly make a clear plexiplate to go over the original black one.
