trying to find some decent, small and preferably cheap water valves for my watercooling project. i would need a set of 4 to allow me to disconnect my radbox from my pc and move the two separately.

unfortunately i dont know any places online that sell this kind of kit. the only place i know that may do this is thorite, but they dont sell em :|

can anyone help me out here, its gotta be in the uk btw.

    thanks

i take it you mean the gunmetal/stainless steel ones?

do you know if that handle on top of them is removable, cause if it aint, i wont be able to fit them where i want em :/

and one last question, do u know of any other places that do a similar one but for about 2-3 quid rather than 5?

Sorry boz, no idea! Maybe try your local garden centre for some plastic ones? They may leak though, so it's best to explain what they are for to the dumb staff!

I dont think you want 4 valaves to do this. You would be better off with 2 quick-release junctions instead. The kind (usually brass) that have a collar that you slide back and the fittings seperate (like most air-tool equipment). This would reduce air bubbles from getting in everytime you remove the rad.

You can find them in any hardware shop.

air wil stil get in no matter what setup he uses for disconnecting. Your best bet is to get a resevoir somewhere in your system.

dont really want a res becuase:

    a) dont have room for a shop one
    b) have limited room in which to build one
    c) buidling one will be tricky in the tight space

but if its unavoibale, i will have to make one out if acrylic.

and mr kong, if u happen to read this, did you get your sheets of thick acrylic in southampton, if so where? i dont really want to buy a huge sheet from b&q when all i need is a 50x50 cm piece.
