Send me your Bios, and I will sort it. Need to know what voltages you need. :)

I'll probably be at work then... (Work nights...)

I'll try a bios off of techpowerup - But they are usually dodgy...

What clocks and voltages do you want?

If you post me the link to that bios that you have already tried and tested. Then I will have a look first thing in the morning.

Have a read through my thread to explain what you will need to do, as using different voltages on the card will not correspond to the driver voltages. So you will need to clear all display drivers.

The linked Bios is pre OC at 880MHz Core - Are you sure it will run at 1.100v instead of the 1.175v?

Try it and see for yourself - But please read through the linked page, and read all of the first 2 posts, so you understand the whole process, before flashing your card with this tweaked bios. :)

    HD6970 Bios 1.100v

In pure dos type this command: atiflash -p 0 6970.AC1 -f

Hi mate Thanks for the help and info in the post :) as for the pre OC bios yes i think it should run ok i mainly wanted it modded for the unlocked clocks the lower voltage is to keep my temps down a bit :)

Before i had it stable at 920/1425 1.100v but it didn't like being under volted with afterburner.

Just a quick question before i go and flash this why is the file .AC1 ? also it won't show up in RBE editor ?

.AC1 is what Sapphire use for their vbios extension.

This is why you can't see it.

Hi mate everything is running fine just had a quick run on 3dmark 11 at 880/1375 1.100v no flicker temps didn't go above 62c and for some reason i got a better score lol 5996 :cooldude: but i will keep my eye on things and give it a good run today to make sure it's stable.

All i need now is a better cooler then i can start playing around with it a bit more :)

Thanks for all your help :)

Great stuff. :) If you want a higher clock I can do that on both the memory and Core. :)
