One does not simply make a custom waterblock without sharing a hundred pics of it

Small update for today with the accessory i made to fill the cooling system without any problem.

Used a bit of aluminum to make a small square to fasten the accessories that will take to the reservoir:

Hole already drilled in the case :

I hope that you don't plan to mix copper and aluminium. That will ruin your watercooling components.

Been using a water block for my rams with a copper base and aluminium top and didnt have any problem yet :x

can you give some more details in how it will ruin the components? it it because of the watercooling liquid ? it will react bad with copper and aluminium mixed?

    Thanks

If you mix Brass/copper with aluminium, this will happend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanic_corrosion

    Brass+copper=ok
    Brass+aluminium=corrosion
    Copper+aluminum=corrosion

    Cool fillport dude!
What about anodize the fillport and radiators then?
That should prevent corrosion, and you can choose some cool colours ;)

That is a very good idea since i have a factory that does that right next to me.. will take a look there if they can do it to the radiator interior as well..

So after this "bad news" i decided to stop for a minute to think about he build parts and started looking to the sleeving..

not sure yet if i will be using brained sleeving or paracord sleeving but i stated doing some test with the heat shrink. Would like to have you guys opinion once more

    Black or transparent

Have you tried doing it shrinkless? I know a few people have done some guides on YouTube and it looks really good.

But if you want to use heatshrink then I would vote black
