Hi all I wish to buy a good set of studio closed back headphones for audio monitoring on my video camera when recording gigs for my friends rock band they need to have good quality sound and good isolation my budget is around £200 any suggestions.
Would be nice If you were actually positive for once evolution, I'm asking for advice here it wouldn't help to be positive it doesn't cost anything.
No problem just keep your chin up as much as possible, I know its difficult at times but at least try matey many of us have lots of problems but we just get on with life as best we can no matter what your problems there are those who suffer worse lifes for living live it to the max wherever you can too late when you pushing up the daises wishing you had been positive in life do it now while you still can. My trick is to surround myself with positive people I also have an insane sense of humour which I find helps also. Anyway back on topic does anyone have any suggestions as to which monitor headphones I should buy
Apologies for hijacking G0UDG's thread but does anyone own a pair of AKG headphones? Heard a lot of good things about them - mainly the 701's but not sure if they are the ones to go for and they are pretty damn pricey, have also been looking at Sennheiser alternatives. Basically I'm looking for some that would be suitable for music listening/recording/mixing for around 150-200 max, any recommendations welcome
Just got some advice from a friend who owns a recording studio in Tunstall not too far from me, he recommended Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones apparently they are the best in my budget I'm going for the red ones I can't find anywhere local I can try them out before buying as we dont have a decent hifi store here anymore none of the local shop sell the ones I want
I would highly recommend the DT770s. I'm very happy with mine, last year went a bit silly at one point and bought some dt880s, and some akg q701s. Have since either sold or given them away and still have my DT770s. They sound great, they're comfy, it's a win win I personally far prefer them to the M50s comfort wise, haven't listened to the M50s enough to comment on the sound quality.
