    i don't know where to ask this but.....

    what programs do you guys used to sketch some custome made cases ?

    i saw some really cool 3d sketch of the cases...and would like to draw one so i can plan for my case mod later....

    Watch some of the video tutorials, and you'll find that it's incredibly easy.
    And - no reason to be sorry for asking a question. That's what these forums are for (well, that and showing off :p )

    Yeah, but much can be done in eight hours. I made a model of my case, remodeled my parents' kitchen, and was almost finished with a detailed 3d model of my room. But I have many computers, so I'll just continue on an other one.
    And a cool tip is: When you have say 30 minutes of the original 8 hours remaining, enter the program, and you can use it as long as you want until you shut it down. :)

    hmm....how to make the colour transparent ?

    means if i draw a sketch of the case....n wanted to give it some colour....n needed it to be a little transparent so that the inside can be viewed ?

    thanx....

    I can't get into the program on this computer now (used up my 8 hours) but you can check the preferences on the file menu I think.

    View > Preferences > Render > Transparency

    ... ok , only would be $4,75

    I think i'll stick with paper and pencil ! and use illustrator at school for making it a bit nicer

    :)

    who has an older version of sketchup's demo file ?

    the new one is version 2.1.45 and i need a 2.1.39 n older.....who has ?

    can send to me links or anything ? thanks.....
