As the title, I am looking for around 7m in length which is easy enough to find,CPC have them but there seems to be a choice. I am connecting HTPC to TV so am I looking for anything special or will anything pretty much do?

Indeed cheapest one you can get, digital signals are either 1 or 0 . Word of warning make sure the build quality is good. Though this isn't dependent on price.
I picked up a 10 metre hdmi cable from eBay and it's working fine no issues what soever and it cost me £7
Another vote for reasonably priced no-name ones here. I got one of these: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/10m-scan-hdmi-v14-display-cable-black-high-speed-plus-ethernet and it works just fine, no problems. Shops like Maplin want about £50 for something like this...
