I would take a bit more than 3 hours, as long as Steam servers cope.
But buying from UK would be cheaper.

The map looks pretty good and alot more accurate then the original rome map which allowed you to expand to far to the North East.

Alot of smaller settlements in each of the larger territories it looks like.

It's different in this one though, the smaller settlements in the last ones (first appeared in Empire) didn't really do much if you marched your army into them apart from disrupting the region.

Now, each region is split into sub regions, taking a small settlement gives you control of the sub region, meaning you don't have to take a castle/city/etc each time you want to take over some land.

If you look at Empire, France is a huge region, all controlled by Paris, take Paris, you take the whole lot. If you march an army into Bordeaux, you just destroy the improvement in Bordeaux.

Now in Rome II, take Bordeaux (well, it's equivalent) and you take control of the south west sub region of France.

Take all sub regions and you get greater benefits from the region as a whole.

Well, looks like I'll definitely be saying goodbye to the life I'd started to have after recovering from the original Rome...

Quite tempted to pick up from where I left off with my Extended Greek Mod (XGM) campaign where I'd been predominantly using units which could be recruited from Sparta only.

No guesses to which faction I'll be playing first. ;)

£30 (or there abouts) is the cheapest I've found so I've pre-purchased on Steam

Very very excited, was thinking about getting EUIV but I think I'll wait until that one has gone down in price

Is G2A legit 'cause they have it for £24.93?: https://www.g2a.com/total-war-rome-2-steam-cd-key-eu-preorder.html, not sure if it includes the Greek pack but for their BF4 pre-order they say that doesn't include China Rising on G2A.

If not then GMG have it for £28.99 right now but there August (valid until the 16th) 20% voucher cannot be used with it sadly.
