Other General Battlefield 3 discussion thread

Don't take it wrong, I used to (briefly) do those things. Also, it's my first MP game anything that doesn't fit in with what I do or have seen good players do is completely alien to me. Like CoD and ArmA gameplay.

 

I've just come back to this after 3 months of not playing. My god I was awful...... Think I will need to put some serious hours in again.

 

Defib kills are always funny, shame their are as not as many as in BF2.

 

It is a pain to do to be honest. I have had a few lucky ones and some fun defib only lols.

Like smoke kills also they are quite amusing and fulfilling also. More than knife kills. But swipe battles are also quite fun too.

Just played some BF3 as i dont believe i have a defib kill yet, was aiming to get a few but ended up runing around on Firestorm finished with a negative kd.

Next round was Caspian, got team swaped from a good squad which was annoying but soloed and finished 36 for 17 in the end.
Funiest part of the round was at the start, had a jet hit D and bounce up was a nice sitting target for my tank but that then died to the attack helo though not a bad trade.

 

I had some very fun games with Bobman and Jester last night! BF3 is definitely a lot more enjoyable when squadded up with people you know and have voice comms with

 

Played a round of sharqui last night, ended up top of my team with myself just running solo capping most of the points, picked up a few defib kills which are pretty fun to get.

Team work is needed in BF3, in k/d terms you can stay 10 deaths to 50+ kills with a good squad, makes the game alot more enjoyable.

Would be good to squad up and play a few rounds with you guys, my in game name is the same as it is on the forum so ccxo

I was 4:5 on him, he'd knifed me and said in chat "noob camper" I was using M40A5 with RDS, straight pull and laser with a 1.5 KD doing my thing. Then for a period whenever someone was near the fecker, they got teribad lags, I quickly went to 4:9 on him. Then we traded he was using UMP-45 ext mags laser all this time, this time I two shot him, having learnt to compensate for the lag. He then switched team, and all lags disappeared. Hmm, hard to work that out hey.

I wasn't playing against him, but heard they had some sus' shots. Ran the name through the wringer and they have 17 bans, 0 protections. Stat wise looks like an excellent player, but look carefully enough at the weapon accuracy's, and some things should catch your eye.

 

Ahh bot-assault that fecker from the other day. Clearly doing something odd. I bet BF4 wilk be using punk buster yet again. Le sigh
