http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/18/nvidia-gtx-780-ti/ B*ll*cks b*st*rd badger tw*t arse feck damn it! Oh well, given the overclock I put on mine I suppose the performance increase would be minor, as in 5% extra.
Your kidding yourself you know your shitty old 780's are now practically obsolete ancient 6 month old technology Might as well throw them in the bin Oh and your shiny new 4k monitor doesn't support G-Sync, might as well throw that out too
Well I can only imagine the 780 will fall in price to around £400 with the TI taking its price place. Unless they let the brainless monkeys out again......
I can see the 780Ti slotting in between the 780 and Titan in terms of price, with the exact figure depending on AMD's pricing of the 290.
Damn need to know where you live... I do feel sorry for you seeing as you spent so much money and now they go and release this...
I'm not actually too bothered, it's just annoying that I've had the cards about a fortnight and already they're releasing this version. In reality I don't expect a real performance increase, kind of like a 580 versus an overclocked 480.
Its not willy waving at 1440p and above, and thats a fact. I use a 1440p IPS monitor (because I need colour accuracy for my photo work). Unfortunately that means that games need a monster gpu to run them at native res with things like AA on. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Yea I've got two Dell 27" IPS and 4 GPU's I like gaming at high resolution each to their own, doesn't mean I'm rich just means I worked hard instead of getting nasty because someone has more than me
Pete I only got mine this very week. If I knew this was coming might have changed my thought process. It nuts but I change mine regularly hence no mansion as I spend my spare money on this lot
Heh, same for me Kovoet. I would've held off buying if I'd have known. Should've seen it coming though with the imminent release of the 290X.
Haha got to love internet drama. (reported) With regards to the OP, it will be interesting to see what happens price wise with all the top cards, and there's never any point getting annoyed about something like this, you got what was good for you at the time, simple as
Exactly right - if we all waited to see what was round the corner / questioned every purchase as a result we'd never buy anything...
Reported. I agree with these chaps, you bought what you needed on your budget at the time. They'll be great cards for a good few years. I think we might see their price dip a little, but not a huge amount as the Titan still holds the flagship-tax. Looking forward to seeing what the market does between now and Xmas.
