    Lol! I wasn't complaining - just clarifying!

I am very excited about this game, but I think I will wait until it's out before splashing more cash on it! I still have bad flashbacks when I think of how much I pledged for it!!

Haven't benched it yet, but I have it on Ultra at 2560*1600 (or whatever the highest one is), and its pretty fluid, about 25 fps I'd say. Will check tonight for you, but I only have a single 2GB card so I'd say you have an issue there (how big is your hanger though, mine is only a single business class)

The hanger is MASSIVELY unoptimised, so I wouldn't take it as an indicator of performance.

Oh, I know, I just thought I'd save you the hassle of looking it up in dollars.

I'm in for $75 so far, and that's where its staying! (That said, me and a friend did buy another friend a 300i package for his birthday so technically you can add another $30 to that)

I've got my hardware done pretty much I think, apart from a good pair of flight pedals that I'll add in during the dogfighting alpha. My 3770, GTX 780 and 8GB RAM seem to be coping at 2560x1440, I think the real issue comes at 4K resolutions.

Of course, we'll see what happens when final launch occurs. I'd love to do some tri-screen stuff, but I don't have the space!

I went for the Ghost upgrade instead.

I was thinking of purchasing both, but thought better of it.

The Ghost looks sexy, but lacks the pew pew I desire from my Hornet.

I suspect the Ghost would be better for those important ice cream runs though.

Not enough hard points on the Ghost for my liking, does look nice though.

It's not about how many hard points you have, its about how you use em

    :D

Besides, not sure where you are looking as I can only find details on the generic Hornet and the F7C upgrade, not each individual type (spectre, tracker, super)

Looks like we'll have a whole bunch of Hornets in the Bit Sec fleet!

The burning question though is a really important one. Did anybody get an Idris to act as our flagship, or will we have to save up to buy something in game? Ideally, I can envisage us running out of an escort carrier which would actually provide us with the launch platform for plenty of fighters and support craft, but in turn that carrier would need some heavy ship protection from the likes of Retaliators, Idris and destroyers/frigates.

Actually, does anybody mind if I start a roster of players and ships they have? Will keep updated as best as can be.

Indeed. Have noticed nobody has purchased the F7C-R though - my reason was that I'm hoping for the Command & Control version of the Constellation to be a reality.

Probably going to scrap the base Aurora for something.

Yeah, I had an Aurora LN that I melted down to get $35 back, which will be ploughed in to the inevitable Constellation upgrade! To be honest, with the other ships I have, I don't think my Aurora is going to get much flight time.

Just an Avenger and Freelancer, I melted down the Aurora into the Avenger.

Should we make a note of who has LTI just in case.
