I have an original 690 and would like to fit grommets to the cable routing holes but according to the CM store the ones they sell only fit the 690 II, The holes in the 690 II look identical to the original 690 so I don't get why they wouldn't fit.

Has anyone ordered and fitted these grommets in an original 690 or know why they wouldn't fit?

It's that bit that bothers me.

Just wondering if someone knew why they wouldn't fit the older version.

If you could lend me one so I could see if it fitted that would be great.

Thanks for the offer mate but after checking the postage it looks like it is going to cost me nearly £20 for 4 grommets once the shipping is added from the cooler master eu store. (approx. £10). Why they have to be sent via ups I'll never know.

    Standard post would do.

So unless someone has a scrap 690 II I don't think I will be getting any grommets.

Last time I needed small bits from CM I emailed support@coolermaster.nl, and explained abut postage. They did pigeon post on the understanding that it was not insured and my tough luck if it didn't show up.

The second time I ordered a few bits in one parcel for me and friends and then split the postage between us. I bought a windowed panel for my Cosmos pure so my mate ordered a normal one and another mate needed small bits so we all stocked up. Maybe styart a thread and see if anyone else needs anything.

Anyone know if I can find a black ATCS840 side panel anymore? That would be amazing.

I was looking for the cable routing grommets for the 690II (not the advanced) but on the cm store it says the ones you sell are for the advanced only but I don't see what's the difference between the two, hole wise.

Also by the time postage is added they become really expensive.

    Hi CrapBag,

Tomorrow morning I will check with the RMA department and store manager what would be the difference and if we still have them. I will reply to you first thing in the morning when I know more.

    Hi Otis1337,

No I wish it was that easy;) I came across this thread because it had Cooler Master in it.

I will look that up together with the question of CrapBag first thing in the morning!

Thanks for looking into this for me Nick.

I love the 690II and have 2 of them plus a scout and a haf 922.

I want another 690II for my wifes pc so I'm keeping an eye out in the market place :)
