    Hi

Has anyone come across or used Avexir RAM before? Looking at a new build but dont know which RAM to go for. The Avexir looks good and would match well with the Gigabyte Sniper board im getting, but just not sure as I've never heard of them before. These are the ones I'm looking at:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/408825-patriot-16gb-black-mamba-ddr3-2133mhz-cl11-pv316g213c1k

If anyone can recommend one of these over the others or one I've not listed it would be appreciated!

    Many Thanks

Personally I only use Corsair, I've never had compatibility problems with it

Quite a few folk I've seen on here use/have used Avexir RAM.

I'm a Crucial sort of chap though really - have always used their RAM in general. Corsair stuff is grand too though - have used that on a number of occasions too (and it's easy to WC the Dominators if you're going for whole-scale watercooling)

I've used some Avexir stuff in the past (with my i7 920 setup) and had no problems with it.

As long as they come with a warranty I wouldn't be too worried about them not being compatible etc, just check to make sure the voltage/timings are sensible (you aren't buying 1.8v older DDR3 for a new system etc) and you should be fine :)

Cheers, I'm not doing any watercooling or overclocking, just want it to be fast out of the box! Last time I bought RAM I went with Geil and have never had any problems, but they dont seem to be doing RAM at the latest high speeds.

Is there one that looks better than the rest or are they pretty much all the same?

    Thanks

    Patriot is 11-11-11-30
    Corsair is 9-11-11-31
    Avexir is 9-11-10-27

    All are 2133Mhz

    Thanks

Avexir is actually decent memory. They set the DDR3 world record for frequency a couple of years ago.

Top quality RAM in all fairness. Corsair is overpriced and overrated.

I used Corsair earlier. I am a Corsair user. But Avexir is pretty good. And it has the normal price in comparison with Corsair. So, go for Avexir.

    I have the Avexir 2133 @ 9,10,10,27
    with sniper 3 Mb
    and a i5-2500k

all running perfect for the last couple of months, not messed with the timings yet, only my CPU is overclocked atm

Thinking of upgrading from 8gb to the 16gb set
