Congrats pica on your winning entry! We'll be in touch to get your address and sort out which of the prizes you want :)

The standard was really high, and we may well be in touch with other designers in the future.

Good job Pica that logo is awesome! Also thanks to the guys with their joystick recommendations, I definitely need a HOTAS in my life. They might have enough keys that I can finally ignore a keyboard for Star Wars flight sims.

Just sent in my application to BitSec. Bought myself the 300i. The exchange rate hurts like hell, so I can't go very high, but that one looks very nice. I might save up a bit, and buy myself the freelancer for my birthday or something like that.

The 300i gives me the discount hanger and the freelancer offers the business class hanger. Does anyone know if my hanger would automatically upgrade, should I buy the freelancer?

Yes, hangars at the moment automatically upgrade to the highest level you own.

X52 or X52 Pro are tried and tested and the software they use isn't too heinous. The X52 Pro is definitely a step up from the X52 in build quality but the functionality is almost identical. The MFD isn't essential but you can feed it from a lot of different sources, I used to have the current and next track from Jumpgate Pirate Radio displayed while I was playing.

I'll probably grab the dedicated SC one though as support is likely to be built directly in to the engine and I'm all for that!

Now I just need to find out how much I can get for a kidney as I definitely need a new rig...:D

With the X52 Pro, there's a tab to control the LED brightness in the Saitek software. :thumb:

Same on the standard x52, its just even on minimum brightness the LEDs still give me eye strain in minutes. I was thinking about giving them a coat of nail varnish to dull them a bit though.

Though it would be very nice to get a joystick for myself, I am hoping that the game is fine playing keyboard. I so used to playing like that with games like freelancer, it just feels natural.

Speaking of which, that's what i'm off to play now while my hanger downloads :D

It's the colour more than anything else mate, blue is just too intense. The green on the pro version is still quite bright but the amber is just nice.

You're showing up with the screen name of Ben, under the core ID of Cribs. Not sure if you can change it at this point.
