because i posted these on other forums bit-tech cant stay behind.

    the work order:
rough cut 6mm 1 flute cutter(holes and the mayor water paths)
finishing hexagon holes with 3mm frees(making the holes nicely hexagon)
finish with 1,5mm cutter(oring slots and screw holes)

finally had some time to make me some more parts, took the week off :p
so i have a dubble update for you guys,
i made the new front and the alu part for 1 of the 2 side radiators.

first a couple of pics of the new front, probably this is going to be painted and there still needs to come a alu plate on the front. the first 4 pics show the front upside down on the case(later desided because of space issue)

now i have some pictures of the side radiator, it is a little bit smaller as the previous one :p its a 240 instead of 360 and also it is only 125 wide instead of 180mm.
phone in the picture is a ipone 4 for size reference.

now im going to prepare the aluminium for the second side radiators to build that tomorrow morning. if that part is finished i have all labour intensive parts done exept for the the part for the motherboard(still messing with ideas)

kind of dissapointed that nobody took the time to even respond. :/

    another update:
i designed a motherboard shield/watercooling kit made out of 2 pieces, a lower part and a top part. today i milled the top part:
    bottom view:
    top view:

the space above the cpu socket will get 0.5mm channels for watercooling, the surface should roughly be the same as an ek supreme, performance will be 50% i think because of the alu.

tomorrow i hope to make the bottom part, the cooling channels will be added somewhere in the next 2 weeks.

It's hard to type when the keyboard is slippery with drool.

    Especially one-handed...

This is the top part correct? So only above the top GPU slot?

Nice to see the cpu being integrated. Intrigued to see how this will all connect.

First post here, the radiators are very impressive, the motherboard shield...... just Gosh!

What did you use to measure the Motherboard? Is it a 2011 socket mATX?

    hahaha thanks :p

this is the top part yes, only until the first pcie slot. did that because i couldnt find a shop that sells 15mm alu sheet, especially for a normal price :p

the idea is to combine the bitspower motherboard block(like the itx versions) with the rog shield of asus. only difference will be that i probably just cool the cpu and the rest of the components can just leach from that cooling power :p

    thanks :)
the motherbord shield is made for the asrock x79 extreme-4m.

i have been a little busy woking on some parts for nexxo's new build so i didnt have so much time to work on this mod. yesterday however i found some time and started on the gpu cooler for the amd firepro W8000 workstation card:

the card will be sunk into the aluminium block so no pcb is visible. i still have to do the other side which i hope to accomplish by the end of this week, also an backplate has still to be made.

for interested people the first teasers of nexxo's upcoming build are here:

thanks, i hope it does, together with the polished moterboard shield/cooling it will be very shiny :)

hehehe that is why i constantly drink all day :p else i would be dehydrated :)

i have another small teaser of the block since i milled the other side today :)

tomorrow i will make some more detailed pictures, there is going to be a backplate ontop of the original backplate, dont want to mess with all those small resistors etc there, to big chance of a shortcircuit :p also im quite lazy :p

Are you going to resurface the block or leave it as milled?

the channels will not be visible so i will leve it as it is, there is an alu cover plate on both sides so non of the milled surface will be visible. the visible part will be polished to make it nice and shiny :)

i worked a little more on the gpu block so it is finished now exept for the polishing finish.
    the pictures:

    mounted in the test setup:

    together with the motherboard shield:
    [IMG][IMG]

in total the gpu weighs in at about 1.6-1.7kg :p luckely i dont have to be afraid that the pb will flex with all that alu.

the next priority will be the finishing of the motherbord shield/watercooling block, that will enable me to slowly start mounting everything because the deadline of 31 januari is getting close :p

finally i have another update, ive been busy with the mod but mostly tapping the holes for the radiators(over 800 total) :p

today i was milling the motherboard cover(cpu side), to make the microchannels in the aluminun.

the channels are 0,4mm wide, 1,8mm deep and there are 49 total. it took more than 7 hours of milling time because i was using a normal endmill and with a width of 0,4mm you can only go 0,05mm at a time :p
the cpu is 1,45mm away from the bottom of the channels so the heatconduction should be ok.

also i milled the front alu plate, the hole for the touch screen is still missing but im working on it.

also i decided not to hurry and finish before the 31 januari deadline, i figured i dont have a very high chance of winning anyway so why bother rushing.

    This looks epic!

Will be keeping an eye on this.

What will the performance be like from those radiators?
