Just a quick question before I purchase the Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H FM2+

Is there anything better? I don't know a huge amount amount the AMD chipsets but from my own research looks like A88x is the best and looking at what's out there the GA-F2A88XM-D3H FM2+ tops it?

    Thanks in advance!

Depends on what your needs are. Micro atx is a given. What about sata III and USB 3? The lower priced boards have neither. The FM2-A75MA-E35 isn't a bad choice either. Personally I prefer Gigabyte boards though. What is your system going to be used for?

I don't know about best but I was quite impressed with the Asus A88XM Plus I have in my daughters machine, at £50 it seems a bargain but I guess it all depends on what you want from a board, it doesn't come with much.

tha A75 board don't support the new kaveri chips - you want an A88 based board

Thanks for all the replies, looking at it the it's between the Asus A88XM Plus and the Gigabyte I mentioned. I tend have a preference for Gigabyte as I've previously had a bad experience of ASUS customer support.

Stick with the Gigabyte, I've been very happy with my FM2+ board.
