Other Dixon's & Carphone Warehouse might be merging

    If this takes place head of Dixon's will be running both. Those carphone staff that laughed at Dixon's previously will not be happy.

    I thought they were already part of the Dixons group?

    I know The Link use to be before they went under, but I could have sworn that Carphone was as well.

    Nah bud the were together with Best Buy. It's phones4u that have some of there stores in the PCworld superstorres

    I think it's a bit of a bold statement to say that Dixon's leadership group will head the new company.

    Having friends who sit fairly high up in head office at both companies, they're saying it's business as usual.

    I worked for the Link before they were under. There were always rumblings of doing this, Phone 4 u were still quite small to be fair the Link were as well.
    They were relying on the power of the DSG group to push the sale but I don't think it went further than some blue sky thinking.

    Been a good little share for me, took a punt after Bestbuy left and when Kesa were looking shady and it's netted a nice bump in just over a year, if only they all did that eh.
