    Nice MB-tray action!

BTW, did you lower the HD rack at some point?

I wasn't sure if lowering the rack was needed, but I must admit it looks better this way :thumb:

Generally isolating spinning hard drives gives good results when it comes to noise. Remember to report back after you've tested them (interested in them myself) :)

    Thanks, I really appreciate :D

@jopers1986: yes I hand drill all this holes but with the help of a template I create.
Working the aluminum is really easy than steel, because much softer.

So, good luck with your lian li ;)

    Hi there !!

Thanks again for all your kind words and to continue to follow my project, I really really appreciate !

Special UPdate, because it's a special day for me and for the project !!

I'm in contact with them since several weeks but now it's time, I can officially present you this little company not well known, no I'm kidding ... because it's func ... Oh my God this is FUNC !!

It's so awsome because it's been something like 10 years I know Func's products (since I was 15 and started playing CS 1.5 actually !) and I know that these products are of very good quality.

They will support this project by providing all their last gaming peripherals, like their headset HS-260, or their keyboard KB-460 and their mice MS-3² with the Surface 1030² mouse pad.

Thanks a lot Func for your trust !!

I will post pictures of all this awsome peripherals as soon I received these candy, I just need to wait !!

To wait, a little teaser :

It's time for an amazing Update !!

This is some pictures of the case, finished at 90% !! The last 10% is the cable management I need to do with the new components I'll buy after my trip in Australia

    the case on the desk
    [IMG]

the slot for the optical drive
    [IMG]

    the front panel
    [IMG]

And the new window from thelaserhive !! I'm really impressed by the precision of the engravings :eeek: I love it !!
(ohh the beautiful molex !! Sorry it was just to plug a light for the pictures to show you the engraving !)

and another view of the desk
    [IMG]

But... ? Don't you think this desk seem so empty ?!

    Ahhhh !!!!

Sorry, but I can't wait more before opening the package !!

:eeek: !! OMG !! :eeek: It's just so awsome to see all this pacakages on my desk !! :jawdrop:

So... just need to open all this peripherals !!

So, I start with the Func Surface 1030² L
    [IMG]

The package is really sober, and this little orange ribbon
He got two sides, one more fast than the other according what you prefer.

The show must goes on  with gaming keyboard Func KB-460
    [IMG]

Here, the package is a little less sophiticated than the mousepad, but he is really protective
    [IMG]

the keyboard is just sublime, and unadorned.

We continue with the gaming mice Func MS-3²
    [IMG]

Here too, the package is really protective, the mice is well protected inside here plastic box, and she can be visble thanks the "door" on the package.

I think she find her new place :thumb:

and the unboxing of the gaming headset Func HS-260
    [IMG]

The package use the same "concept" as the mouse with the little door closed thanks two magnets. I like ! :thumb:

Hzre too, the headsed is well protected, he can travel safely :D
    [IMG]

And now, all this beautiful peripherals on the desk

Thanks a lot for your kind words guys

@Japzilla: just because you specially create an account for me, I'll specially take few pictures for you !!

As I said previously, I'll go in Australia in 2 months for 1 year, so the hardware inside the case is approximatively the same I used for my apple cube (yeah it's an itx MB inside :hehe: )

I'll buy new hardware when I come back after my trip !!

    edit: pictures !!

    looking suuuupaaar-good...

    new hardware... humm...
i see a some blue parts in there so an MSI like X79A-GD65 or Asus P9X79 might fit colourvice but guess those 2 would be an expensive upgrade since its Socket 2011 and would require a new CPU...
could also get new heatspreaders on the RAM and cover the SSD and go for the new black\red thing all the Z97 boards is going for...

For the MB, I also see the intel DZ87KLT-75K ... I think it could fit too inside the case !! Here too I'll need to change my CPU (s1150)
