Did you have to ground the motherboard stand-offs?

I just read something about grounding them.

Just brilliant...the FAQ on your website about plexi techniques was fantastic, gave me a huge heads up my project ahead! We shall see how rounded plexi corners go.... :D

    Locating Some Acrylic Rodding?

Hello, I've been sorta fooling around with the idea of making a case very similar to yours. I've got some of the building materials but, I've had no luck finding acrylic roding or any transparent rodding at all. Checked HD plus some other hardware/hobby shops to no avail. Any suggestions?

    Regards,

    Arlof

Thanks, el bob, 3 months was calendar time--a lot of that was spent obsessing, uh I mean, thinking about the details, or trying to solve a design problem, like how to mount the drive cage.

Are you the same el bob from [H]? Either way, welcome to the boards.

if you would take money for it i would call it great customer service :D
thanks alot, i just contacted my "local" online-material dealer :D hope they have those too.
btw. is the glue you used hardened with uv-light ? i have read the example of use and it's similar like the glue i've found.
i'm still not sure if i glue or screw my imagined plexi-cube. :wallbash:

No, my adhesive was strictly a sovlent cement, no cure other than letting it evaporate.

Definitely glue it. It looks 10x better.

You should do one thing I didn't--have the glue joints running parallel to the line of sight wherever you can. It's even harder to see them edgewise than it is to see them looking at the flat. I should have used hte 9.5x9.5 faces as my front and back, but I used the 10x9.5 faces instead. A small detail, but worth pointing out.
