Its time for me to upgrade from my OC'ed 6770 as games are getting a bit "slow" to say. Looking to spend £200 tops and just wondering what the best bet is to go on. I dont think compatibility is a huge issue. Nor do I think my CPU will be a bottleneck. Running 12GB of Ram and a Phenom II X6 ~3ghz.

    Any advice would be great!

If buying used is an option for you then you'd get a R9 280X or GTX770 for that sort of money, and warranty can often be transferred or follows the card which mitigates the second-hand nature to a large degree.

Just for illustration as you don't yet have enough posts to view the marketplace, I sold my 5 month old EVGA GTX770 with over 2.5 years warranty remaining for £185 delivered, which is£80 cheaper then the new price at Scan.

(The sale fell through but that's a separate story and not the fault of the buyer or seller!)

Much more bang per buck than a new mid-range card. I've bought many new cards and I've bought many second hand ones over the years, ironically the only two cards I've ever had a problem with have been ones I bought new!
