Can't wait to get my granite caps on my Poker, and eventually a low profile alu case. Should give a nice underglow

 

Ducky and Keycool both also offer orange LED. Alternately you can always go with white led and simply put the little led color gels on them to change them into whatever color with nearly no effort.

Good idea! I've listed the stuff over at GH too but international postage charges may well put most people off the boards.

 

Ivan, where would I find these gels? It sounds like the perfect solution for a quick fix!

I'm torn between these two choices..

I could get a stock one of these - Ducky Shine 3 TKL with Orange Backlight and Browns and have it as a clean stock..

Or I could go the custom way and get a "cheapie" CM Storm Quickfire TK with Browns, mod the LED's to have orange glow.. And get a custom Keycap set.

I've been looking at WASD's keypad sets and I can afford one with the CM, but not the Ducky.. This is the layout i'd look at and i'd use the Function buttons & arrows on the numpad combo bit.. (I can always remember where numbers should be! )



My heart is kinda set on the custom way, but if I cant find these gels that Ivan speaks of.. It could look a disaster with white backlighting..? Also, is the CM really that much worse than the Ducky for using?

 

I would just go for the Ducky and stay away from wasd keycap as they really aren't worth buying.

 

Also - those WASD caps won't fit on a CM TK as the CM TK has funky bottom row.

What pcb is inside that to get the staggering on the alpha block like that? It's not just JIS layout is it?

Nice set though I had that set for a bit, but, the wrong sized shifts did my head in.

 

The PCB is a custom board made by Bpiphany, I think there was only 4 or 5 made.
The shifts fit this board thou, but yeah, not much is normal with the layout, so

Just ordered two Charcoal Grey spacebars from Sheraton. They were missing from my SkiData/Charcoal Grey set that I bought off SpamRay a while ago.

Can't wait to finally be able to use them.
