    Hey,

I was having overheating problems with my netbook and opened it up to find that there was no thermal pad on the CPU! Does anyone know where I can buy one on the high street? Or have a spare pad they can post my way? Needs to be roughly 15x15x1 mm in size :) kinda like this one.

    Cheers,

    Suman

    Err.. Buy that one?

Edit: why not use some thermal paste instead?

I think you need a slightly thick pad for some laptops, I think.

Could have bought that one... pad for £1.14 and postage at £5.99 :thumb:

Ended up getting this one over at Chilled PC for a more reasonable £2.99 + £1 postage! Could get maybe 7 or 8 pads from that strip, which is cool for future use!

    Cheers,

    Su

    P.S. docodine was right ;)

I'm glad Chilled PC have used some common sense when it came to delivery charges. Almost £6 for an item valued at just over a pound  Come on Scan, get it together.

    Holy thread revival batman.

FWIW - I can see your original post, and it was spelt just perfect. If I see it again around the forum, it will be a while before we see you again.

    And we're closed.
