Hi dudes!!!! After a long break, I am finally back with a new project. This time, it's for a case mod, I'll start another scratch build later. This mod will be based on a Bitfenix Ronin First of all, I do thank Bitfenix and Aquatuning France for their sponsoring Concerning hardware: - MSI Z97M gaming - Intel I5-4670K - 16Go Avexir Blitz 1.1 2133Mhz - MSI gtx 680 - Bitfenix Fury 650G - SSD kingston Hyper X 120G Watercooling: - WB CPU Alphacool NexXxos - WB GTX 680 Alphacool NexXxos with backplate - res aquatube - fittings 16/10 Alphacool black - tubbing Masterkleer 16/10 white - rad XSPC 240 and 360 crossflow - DDC 18W + top EK Here we go!!! To begin with, I cut the top for the rad which will takes place between the plastic and the metal structure of the case and cut a long aluminium and PVC piece which will cover the front and top of the case Having received my parcel from Bitfenix and Aquatuning France ... ... I started working on an aluminium piece for the bottom of the Ronin to put rad and PSU and an other piece to keep the PSU plug at the same place Today, I have worked on cutting Bitfenix's logo on the front panel and air vent on the top Now, I have to find a way to create a great backlightning on the white acryl More pictures soon, and I hope you'll like this project see you
Thanks guys!! Oh, I forgot to put a picture of a render. This mod should look like this at the end Surely with some modifications during the built
Hello guys!!! small update I have worked on parts for the bottom of the case. I cut 8mm acryl to strengthen the part which supports the Fury It also allow to create a compartment to use a 80mm fan to directly extract air from the PSU. Second part of the work was to create a fan grill with white acryl. I thing I will use backlighting here too. that's all for today. See you
Hi guys, I have been working on the I/O panel this week-end, some pictures I cut 2 pieces of 8mm acryl to maintain the PCB And cut the aluminium on the front panel Update soon
Hello! it's time for an update I've worked on the inside of the case, creating a piece with aluminium. I kept the original design of the PSU/bay cover It still needs some finishing works, I'll do it soon. I take some times to make some photo of the watercooling parts sent by Aquatuning.fr Cape fuzion 100 Alphacool cool fitting ( matt black ) That's all. No modding this week end, I have to do a review and test of the Bitfenix Fury 650G See you
Hi guys !!!! Some news about this project. Two news sponsors will help me for the built, Avexir, who sent me 4x4Go Blitz 1.1 2133 Mhz , and Royal Covering with a roll af black brushed titaned vinyl whick must arrive soon. Of course, I had to change the color of the Ram Concerning the mod: I have really few space to use the cape fusion, so I will use an aquatube. I finally decided to change the MSI MPower Max for a MSI Z97M gaming ( with a small paint job too ) I worked on a new stand for the 360mm rad for the top I also worked on the gpu's backplate using an alphacool for base. I cut white acryl and add some aluminium pieces. I am just waiting for the vinyl to finish it. With those modification, I could finished the watercooling loop. I use rigid tubbing/fitting to connect the GPU. I will not keep the part for I/O panel with usb and audio, I don't really need it. It will give a better look to the front of the case, more simple. Updates will arrive soon, stay tuned
