This one's probably for film/tv buffs really. I'm putting together a "participation" presentation with a myriad of timer countdown sessions in it, for which I need 30-35 second snippets of film or tv tracks, maybe even part of a song; either countdowns, "clock", or something suspenseful building to a crescendo or something humorous. I've come up with the 5 below but need another 5 and I'm stumped now Does anyone have any ideas? Edit: I should add that the videos won't be shown, I'll just be using the sound tracks The first 34 seconds of this: This, of course: And 45 seconds of this: .... And the first 30 seconds of this I would add "Stingray" to the list but that has "... in the next half hour" not "the next 30 seconds" and I can't edit it or do a separate voice track to play over it
Some footage of the new years eve countdown then followed by fireworks? Might be a better example out there though.
How about the BBC radio "pips"? You can hear them on this page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-magazine-monitor-26052087 Edit: And the "20 seconds to comply" scene, Robocop. (from 1:55 although the last 5 seconds of the countdown might be better suited): It was also used as an intro to this song:
