    Hello fellow Modders!
What better day is there to start a project than your B-Day!
So for everyone there is some digital pie

So starting on "Project Z" :D
Why "Project Z" you ask? Well because "Project X" was already taken...
And I think it looks a bit like a 'Z' or a 'L' or something like that.

This build will be a complete scratch build and sonmething benchtable alike.
It has to be quiet, it has to look awesome en shouldn't stick out to much (otherwise my desk gets so tiny, its only 4 meters).

"But what does it looks like then?"

Well it will loke something like this:

Credits for the awesome renders go to mark, thanx for those delicious pieces of computer magic :)

And ofcourse an opening post would be nothing without some progress.
The the base of the frame has been put toghether and it is already getting into shape.

Recipe for a solid connection is first glueing it together and when the glue is dry drilling out a hole for a rivet and put one of these through.

The first of the pillars is glued and waiting for getting a rivet through it. When it is entirely solid the other pillar goes into place so it can be positioned perfectly align of the first one.

Thats it for now, until very soon :thumb:

    Update Time :)

First off, sorry for the big delay.
I have posted on the dutch forums and will try and keep the english forums more updated.
I have been very busy with making LEDstrips so that they are back in stock as soon as possible, and they are now :D

I made a little list of components I want to use for this build:

    - Intel Pentium G3528
    - MSI Z97 PC Mate
    - Kingston Hyperx Fury

    Components I already have:
    - Hitachi 1TB 2.5" HDD
    - Crucial MX100 256GB
    - CM Nepton 140XL I won this, how awesome
    - SST Strider Essential Gold 500W Also won this.
    - Gigabyte HD6950 Windforce

The frame is almost completely mounted together:

Cuttig is so much easier than sawing.

    Cut all little bits.

The long strips fil up the space.

There is a design to the lasercutter, which will be here in a week :D
This comes on the front of the frame.
I'm still doubting about the colors of the sleeve, what do you think?

    Till next time!

    Also got a new sponsor:

Freddy helps me with the hardware to make this build complete.

I have the frame at home now, at school it looked fine but when I tried the plate on at home it was so skew that I cant make an other decision than to re do it.

When I was building in my new SSD and HDD last week, my last (5th board in this system) s775 mobo broke.
So now I will need a new set of hardware, cause of some financial limitations it can take some time before I can make the frame again.

So that is everything for now, till next time.

Askew: Can you get rid of the top frame bar and adjust the frame that way? -You really don't need it with the plastic mounted.

That would be possible if it weren't for the fact that the psu holder is also the wrong size.
So I'm gonna play on safe and rebuild it totally.
Think I will restart in a week or 2 :)

    Ace idea.

I thought of something similar, only wall mounted.
