    Been on a Samsung 305T for...years. I'd be delighted to up from 2560x1600 to 4K.

    4K monitor on my list to upgrade...and a new gfx card that can use it to its full potential!

    HOLY Thread revival Batman!!

    4k is not interesting until graphics are drawn in native 4k, which would (I assume) reduce the reliance on AA and/or AF?

    One of the party tricks of GPU's is to mask jagged edges, 4k might be easier to achieve with single GPU's if the need to use AA/AF was removed.

    For that reason, I believe 4k is still a year or two off - I suspect Pascal will be the first card to do 4k on the hi-end with (relative) ease but not everyone can afford it.

    ..........there's only so much detail you need on a 28" screen.
