7UP.

I used to like the odd can of Sprite, but since they took the sugar away, it 7UP now.

I like the odd can, every now and then.

 

Tonight I am going to drink a bottle of Chianti that I got given yesterday.

I'm a bit of a heathen so I am trying to learn about things like: Nice red wine.

 

With some Fava beans?

of course! you can't not do the sucky sound. I also then, did it again when I got home to my girlfriend - apparently she hates that sound and I nearly got punched in the face.

 

I assume you immediately did it again and took the punch? For teh lulz?

 

And kept calling his girlfriend Clarice for the rest of the night........

Indian Monsoon Malabar AA.

 

From my trip to Knoxville, Tennessee earlier this month.

 

Yet another pinot grigio. This one is quite nice in point of fact; not dubious like the last one, though it's a Romanian wine which names its-self "paris street"... with rich tea biscuits...

 

Costa Rican Tarrazu Valley coffee, roasted by my good self.

And darn fine it is too, even if I do say so myself. It's all in the roasting, of course...

 

Cider.

Home made.

With apples (obviously) from my garden.

mmmmmmm... dry cider!

 

A few of these are on the cards later tonight.

 

old friend an partner arrived on flying visit from north of the boarder baring gift of Tomatin, which we set about with great relish, after half bottle then washed down with half bottle of Monkey Shoulder,what better way to spend a day and night, good company and even better scotch. even took time out to enjoy a supurb meal.

i nearly bought it today but then i spotted a bottle of Wild Turkey 101

 

Had a batch of home made white wine that I really didn't feel like bottling, so tossed 19 of the 23L into a keg and carbed it up. It's not champagne, but it's drinkable.
