Peripherals External HDD enclosure

    Hi,

    Quick, probably daft, question regarding ext HDD enclosures:

    With something like this: IcyDock MB559U3S-1S, can you put any 3.5" drive in it - such as a 3.5" SATA II WD3000HLFS (Velociraptor), or a 3.5" SATA II Samsung HD103UJ, and you'll be able to access it? Or are the ext enclosures only compatible with specific types of drives?

    I'm being paranoid, but my desktop's CPU has died (long story), and the currently cheaper option is to get a laptop/tablet. I want to be able to rescue all the data I can - which is stored in the above types of HDDs.

    Yes, work with any sata interface drive upto 4TB.
