Quick question, if I may: how much of the 32GB internal storage is available with Win8.1 installed?

You lose about 13GiB for Windows 8.1, so roughly 16GiB (32GB being 29GiB).

Surprised it's even that much, I thought wimboot was supposed to only take up around 5gb.

Edit: ^ahhhh explains it a bit more

You can also enable compression on the system partition (and any external storage devices you've got formatted as NTFS), which can claw back a gig or two depending on your data. The CPU in these things is crazy overpowered for what it is, so don't worry about slow-downs: you could dedicate an entire core to data compression/decompression and still have the other three to work with...

How are you all finding the 1GB of RAM? Is it particularly restrictive with Win 8.1?

It's as nippy as my desktop on my 7. I'm loving the little fella. Portable CM01/02 has been a dream for me for many years.

I just noticed that too. I bought a Tech21 D3O case that fits a samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7", for £4 on fleabay. Hope it fits! I'll just use the onboard keyboard instead. I don't fancy the cheapo bluetooth keyboards anway.

Ive got that, its not a nice keyboard you have to hit the keys square on and full travel to get make sure it works. Bar that its a nice stand

No got it seperatly after raiding staples for the tablet the keyboard was on amazon prime.
Dont get me wrong its nice its actually got a metal back and does a decent job of covering it. Just the actual keyboard isnt that good a quality. Unless something better comes out itll do the job.
