Hi!

Today i've been working with the red parts on the motherboard. It was harder than i imagined to sand it straight without scratching the other stuff haha.







And this is the the result. Im soo satisfied with the block matching the heatsinks now! I still have to sand and polish a bit more, but this is enough for today.











What do you guys think?

 

Like it a lot, red & black may look good, but it's staring to be overdone.
That monochrome result on the mobo really works well.

 

That boards looks great now! I wish motherboard makers did like asus and had colored accents as stickers so any board could easily be made to match a theme.

looking nice so far, what dress kit have you got for the d5 pump is it EK, i was wondering if the D5 could be covered using this res, looking forward to more pic's, would like to see what the primochill looks like in the case, this case is on my hit list when it comes out, hopefully soon, or may do another Parvum as there bringing out a ATX model in the next six weeks.

Yes its the EK cover kit, with only the "cap". So it will be covered im so glad for that.
Are you planning on getting this reservoir? I like it very much, you should get it! Love the freedom choosing colors to it aswell.


Update!

My GPU waterblocks finally came. I thought that only one would come, but both did!
Going to have one GPU installed since I need one in my current computer. But of course the other one will move in when the time is near.

Today I made holes for the reservoir



First GPU installed. Im thinking about cutting the g1 Gaming backplate shorter so it fit in the case, or buy the nickle one from EK.... not sure...







Someone asked how to plug in the power so I took some pictures of it here:

90 degree IEC adapter (comes with the case).

- First swipe off the top panel.



- Plug in the power connector.



- Put the cable in one of the holes, you can also do this in the bottom if you have the PSU there.



- Swipe it on again




Now its time to plan the loop and buy fittings. Already got 4 pieces of Primochill Revolver fittings for hard tubing to try it out

I completely missed you making the boring red go silver. What a classy motherboard it becomes. Very nicely done. I just love such seemingly small mods that make such an enormous impact.
