    First Asteroids and now Defender?

    Is this the year of the remake?

    I loved Defender - really loved it. For me, it stands out more than Space Invaders or Pac-Man.

    Agreed, it was love first arcade true love, when I was about nine they had it in a small back room of a local cafe along with Donkey Kong. Not long after my dream came true when I got a version on my BBC Micro, the name of which escapes me.

    Well I guess with last year being the year of the survival game, this year is seemingly going to be one for arcade classics.
