Awesome! Love the analog gauges. -I only just noticed the PSU vents into your radiator. You will have some heat issues with that.
Yeah, those analogue gauges are really well implemented. Need some warm white LED underlighting to finish the effect.
Thanks guys, appreciate it And Cheaps - I don't think I will have that much of a heat issue there. The PSU vents out through the two 120 fans along with everything else. Maybe not ideal, but will work for its purpose.
I have access to a laser cutter at work, don't know the model name though. Can look it up if interested. UPDATE: Some final precision soldering on the slot-in-dvd before mounting it. And some metal mesh for final tough. Below are the finals. Temps are good, and everything seem fine. I have had some issues with getting the meters to work though, my arduino application freezes during connection. When I've solved that, I will upload a video for you all. Til then, try to enjoy some stills! Some different angles of the front panel powered/unpowered along with close-ups. The DVD slot-in. A slick fit... Some pictures of the butt... The inside revealed. You'll notice a led strip just behind the panel. I wanted an optional glow around the panel, but I didn't like the result. So that's that. Once again, thank you Corsair and Inet for the goodies! Hope you'll like it //Quizz
Kid As lovely as ever my friend Reminds me of my first ever hifi receiver I had back in t'day- Sansui 3000a Top work fella
That is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The only thing I don't like is the lack of I/O plate at the back... But drool-worthy mod all the same
Nah, Tinfoil I/O plates block useful airflow. Looks fantastic Quiz. You gotta promise to make something really crazy next time so it will take longer than a few weeks. You've gotten TOO good at building in this style. @Hairyknacker- STILL using my Sansui amp from that era.
Thanks a lot guys, appreciate it! A few weeks isn't enough for you cheaps, we all know that. Years maybe This was a quick one, no dout. Next time I might give it some time... I long for a project to really grow into. One that really gets to you, emotionally, in good and bad. Tempel was one of those projects. Think I put over 1400 hours into that one
Beautiful, Really Elegant. I love the drawer Does the mesh over the fan on the rear not get too noisy?
I too would like to see one that gives all your tentacles a challenge. But this one is veeeeery nice, love the accessibility thanks to the drawer.
