I think you'd do a good job on it Jeff, shame it cuts freestyle modders out by needing sketches or renders.

Read what I said before. I looks half finished hence my comments about modding it. There are plenty of case that are good water cooling cases on the market and look finished and wouldn't need modding. This is my opinion and judging by some of the comments one that a few other people share as well.

Edited all my posts as I was 100% misunderstood and people falsely assumed I was disagreeing that Phobya messed up.

Please do the same for quote...

I don't want anyone thinking there is something about that case I like.

Thanks for the thumbs up Wayne. A lot of the comps do that. But I can see the reasons for it. Obviously they need to choose who they are going to give the cases to. That said I am sure there will be a few sponsored modder that will be given a case to play with

aside from the potential apple lawsuit, I would of designed the front differently. who here actually uses font loading mechanisms any more? its 2015 not 2000.

We see the production of this case as a triumph. Although it may have taken some time to produce and may not be the design you are most fond of the important point to focus on here is that this case from the community ground up.

The community designed it. The community voted for it. It is a reality.

Considering Phobya is not a case company this was a great undertaking for them, due to the cost of tooling etc they will not make money out of this project but they have shown the willingness to listen to the community and develop products from that.

The modding competition is the next phase and can only lead to some great builds.

Does everyone remember the episode of the Simpsons where Homer meets his long lost brother Herb and said brother then asks Homer to design a car for his company? Remember how well that worked out? That's what this whole process reminds me of.

I respect the commitment of Phobya to see this project through to production, however I question the wisdom.

I think ModSquid might be referring to the "WaCoolT" part of the name.

That seems to be just something that Phoyba have used on a few of the cases they've put to market so I'm guessing it's just a random branding name to make their case products a bit more searchable. Not much else beyond something relating to their cases comes up when you Google for WaCoolT.

I assume it stands for something like Water Cooling Technology/Tested.
