Hi, This is my first post here. I want you to excuse my English as it's not perfect. I have some hardware and water cooling laying around for testing purpose. I decided to build a simple case for those parts.. But when my eyes saw these giant tires from RC truck.. The idea started shining in my head.. Starting with rims.. For the chassis, I cut two pieces of 6mm MDF.. and I made holes for cable management and to hold the vehicle body later on. I used my router to make room for tires column so it can easily fit between the two pieces of wood.. Testing the motherboard positioning after installing the tires.. ------- To be continued
OK.. For the hardware I'm installing.. CPU : i7 2600k Mobo : MSI H61-E35 V2 Mini ITX Ram : Kingston HyperX blu GPU : Gigabyte HD 7750 PSU : Silverstone 450Watt SFX SSD : AData 256GB As I mentioned before, I'm keeping these parts for testing purpose only.. For the water cooling parts CPU Block : EK-Supreme LTX - Nickel Rad : EK-CoolStream RAD XTC (140) Pump and Res. : EK-Reservoir Combo DCP 2.2 Acrylic pipes SLI fittings from Bitspower ------------------- After removing rad's old paint.. Preparing parts for new paint.. ------------- For the vehicle body.. I used these cheap PVC pipes.. After drawing the design and bending some pipes with my heat gun.. It came out like this.. Weird at the beginning , but I'm sure you gonna like it after painting.. -------------- For the paint job.. I used spray paint and I chose White, Black, and the famous Camouflage colour. Here. I cut some papers randomly for Camouflage patterns. And now for the results.. Rad fan and SSD.. ------------------- Made the connection plug for the PSU.. I placed it in the rear left corner until I decided to move it to the centre, under the rear bumper. ------------------ To be continued
I bought some 3mm plexi glass sheets.. I bended one of them and install it as sun roof.. Also I installed the front and rear bumpers, front and rear lights and painted the video card fan.. Unfortunately, I didn't take pics for these.. But here are the final pics after everything is set.. SSD Power-on button.. DONE
I thought you were suppose to post pictures of computer parts and a mod, but instead it was just pictures of a floor/wall. On a more serious note, well done!
