Other Any 'vapers' out there?

Change those batteries to efest 2500mah 35a! The 3100mah are only rated for 4amps and are unsafe at anything less than 1ohm, according to some threads I've seen. The 2500mah are rated 20amp continuous and safe for subohming.

Or just get Samsung 25R batteries.

 

^What he said! If you're running below 30 Watts then there's nowt wrong with the Efest 3100 batteries. They don't do as well in the mechs - I can kill one in a morning on my Cronus, either Atantis or my little Scar, they last me a full day in the box.

 

thanks for the heads up, so a mech would drain the battery faster than a VW mod at the same wattage?

and wouldnt only need more Amp's if i was DIYing coils?

yeah i did see that in some reviews but the battery will be going in and never coming out as it would be having charges via USB when i go to bed.

The M65 is awesome. I love mine. I thought I'd never go over 20 watts, but found with the right build (0.2 Claptons), I could happily rock a dripper at 65W. HAmmers the battery though.

Be very wary about the authenticity of the VTC5's, most being hawked are re-wraps. I have a Samsung 25R in mine.

My innokin itaste svd 2.0 is playing up with my russian 91 so am using it on my aspire sub ohm battery for the time being & ordered a mech mod simply known as Kato mod, costs £175 on ukecigstore, bought a good clone of it from gearbest for £26 shipping included from China, crazy huge saving.

But I'll be in for quite a wait on delivery I expect especially if customs slow the process down, oh well it's still £149 saving.

Got my russian playing nice with the svd now, was the centre pin not contacting the mod.

This is supposed to be a 1:1 close so based on fiddling with a real one for a minute or two: 510 connector and positive pin are slightly longer, hole in positive post is smaller and top cap is a bit too loose.

Quick and dirty test run with Magma, both had single 8-wrap coil made from 0,32mm kanthal and cotton at 20W. Derringer wins 2-0 for better clouds and flavor, also the vapor from Derringer seems to be thicker.

Or maybe this one? Cheaper, comes with five caps, driptip and costs less. Only real niggle is that loose-ish SS cap.

Oh and pick China Post, its a wee bit faster than Singpost. Ten days from order to delivery is not bad.
