I opted for SSD to boot Windows 7 and a few games. I was so impressed that I got another SSD, but after booting up, I cannot see the new SSD, even though the device manager can see it and tells me it's working fine.

    Both SSDs are Intel 240GB.

    Any help would be appreciated!

You need to initialise the drive by the sounds of it.

Go to My Computer, right click and click on Manage. You'll have the "Disk Management" option on the left, where it will show you the secondary drive. Right click and make a new volume, do not mark the partition as active, whatever you do. You won't be able to boot again.

    It needs formatting!

Win + R to open the Windows Run dialog box
Enter "diskmgmt.msc" without the quotes and press return
Find your new SSD in the box that appears: Right Click to format, and assign a drive letter

    TSB

Edit: Beaten to the punch with a clearer explanation!
