    Hello everyone, another update here.

Last weekend, on Saturday, I continued where I left off before the battery died on me. I worked on the front fan holes and got them done. Then I shifted my attention to the PSU hole and I like the way it came out.

Front rad plate moounted onto the panel.

    Making the cut.

This is how it looks before I finished filing the hole.

Today I was able to do more work on the panels. I mounted the rad so I can see how much room I have left for 2 5.25 bays (Fan Controller and NZXT Hue RGB). I will be working on this part tomorrow. I also assembled the back panel and I like how it looks.

Back and front panel together again.

After that, I worked on drilling some holes on the MB tray. I hope to have each wire go through its own hole.

Hello everyone. I hope that you are all keeping warm, at least trying to. This is a long overdue update that I meant to share back in late September and October. Unfortunately, I was sick then for 3 months and now I am home nursing injuries that I suffered from another car accident after getting rear ended badly on my way home from work. I hope I can resume my work on this case and have it powder coated before Christmas.

Here's what I had done a while ago. All that is left is to drill holes and mount the MB tray and mid panel. Then make fan cutouts for the top panel as well as the right side of the case.

First up is the bottom panel. I got it done with!

Then I worked on the ODD cutouts.

After that I shifted my attention to the motherboard CPU cutout. The motherboard trey will be made of 2 aluminium sheets joined together using 1/2 aluminium bars. Why? I want the MB trey to be as clean as possible and this means all the cable clamping and tying will be done on the second aluminium sheet.

Here you can see the main MB trey and the aluminium bars resting on it. Then I put the second aluminium sheet on top.

Last but not least, I made the channel for the GPU brackets to go through.

    Hello friends,

I trust that you all have been having a great year so far. I am doing alright I guess, dealing with a bad back, and recovering from a knee surgery. I have been away from the project since I have been sick. However, that hasn't stopped me from stocking my watercooling gear. I am making the switch to hard tube and here is my latest purchase, made almost 3 weeks ago from Daz. And yes, I was the first to grab the stop fittings when he brought them in and I will be adding 12 more next week. I love how they look. Enjoy the photos.

    20 x EK-HDC fittings 3/8 ID x 1/2 OD - Nickel and 13 x EK-AF Angled 90 degrees

Hello to you too Corpsemaker. Thanks for dropping by and checking out my thread. The Aquacomputer stuff will be for my next project come summer time. This build is being cooled using EK parts.

    New PC Gear!

    Hello fellas,

How is it going? I hope that all is well. I am doing alright. I haven't worked on the case for a long time but I hope to resume as soon as start feeling much better.

Anyways, I thought I should update you with what I have been up to lately. I decided to replace the Maximus VI Formula board with the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK. This board is beast and I love the idea of being able to go quad GPU. However, what I like the most about this purchase is that I can upgrade to the next Intel architecture by trading it in with Gigabyte and paying the price difference.

I also decided to go ahead and purchase a second AMD R9 290X, made by Gigabyte, same model as the other one that I already have. The card was on sale for $330 CAD so I couldn't pass that up.

I also grabbed a couple of PSU PCIE plugs that will help eliminate the use of 2 of the 6+2 PCIE plugs. More to come!

Hey guys. I hope that all is well with everyone. This mod has been on hold for almost a year due to health issues that I have dealing with. I hope to resume soon, so stay tuned.

And this is my current setup inside a Corsair 800D :thumb:
I can't wait to be able to finish this mod and then do something new.

Very nice, very nice indeed. I'm not quite there where I would try something like that.

My wish is really to be able to build a Republic of Gamers inspired chassis, but I neither have the tools nor the knowledge, to do so.

I love your build by the way.

Thank you. It has taken a long time to do this build and I can't wait to finish it the right way. It's not too much work but when health fails you there is nothing you can do. However, I hope I don't disappoint when I get it done.
